Of course, the first space hotels will look very simple.  Perhaps they will be like the famous Skylab satellite or a miniaturized version of the International Space Station.  In time, however they will become a more advanced version of the orbital ship in 2001.  They will have rotating cylinders that will allow the formation of artificial gravity in some sectors of the hotel.  Of course, some parts of the hotel will be in ground zero to allow you to experience the fun of ground zero in an enclosed environment.  You can play various sports from the comfort of your room in your hotel or you can go to the parts, which have artificial gravity to enjoy a nice drink in the bar while overlooking the Earth.

But probably the most fun part of the space hotel will be the part that you are able to do special recreational activities.  The things that you normally wouldn’t be able to do in a gravity environment due to pressure on the joints etc., you can easily do in a gravity free environment.  In the space hotels, there will be pockets of gravity free environment where you can try out anything from acrobatics to swimming in the ground zero.

Of course, in time, the concept of Space Hotels will get larger as more and more people migrate to the Moon or even to the Mars as technology advances.  Of course having a space hotel on Moon can be a phenomenal experience for the space tourist.  Although it may sound like a dream, most realities have been founded by dreams.  If the Wright Brothers hadn’t dreamed maybe modern flying would not have had such a good start.  Perhaps in a hundred years we will have several space hotels all over the Solar System.  Who knows may be the famous Hilton Hotels will be the first to create a chain of space hotels all over the solar system such as the Moon, Mars and Jupiter etc.
